The 2,200-ton precision forging machine, which took more than a year to build, has successfully completed the hot load test and officially entered the trial production stage. The main equipment of the forging machine is manufactured by GFM, Austria. The precision forging machine plant supporting the project consists of a main span and ancillary facility span. The plant is 423 meters long and has a construction area of 22,000 square meters. The equipment supporting the 2,200-ton precision forging unit also includes a chamber heating furnace, annular heating furnace, trolley heating furnace, overhead crane, straightening machine, peeling unit, band saw, lathe, etc. The total investment of the project is about more than 400 million yuan. The precision forging machine mainly produces high-grade forging materials, with an annual design capacity of 54,000 tons.
